Nicole is a Registered Exercise and Sport Scientist and Qualified Nutritionist; she is passionate about normalising menstruation and is on a journey to empower and educate young adolescents about their unique bodies. Nicole has a non-diet approach to nutrition and can offer personalised practical nutrition and health advice. She encourages her clients to ditch the weight scales and reminds them they are so much more than a number. Her areas of expertise within nutrition and health are PMS, dysmenorrhea, sports Nutrition, postpartum care, low energy availability, RED-S, and overall menstrual cycle support.
Nicole firmly understands that health is more than our Tinana (body). It is our whānau (family & friends), hinengaro (mental), and wairua (spiritual). She uses this with her clients to provide a holistic health model. Nicole combines just the right mix of evidence-based science, open-mindedness and compassion to support her clients on their journey to well-being, whatever that may be.
In her spare time, she loves to be in the garden, caring for and connecting with our Papatūānuku and spending time with her whānau. Nicole is an active relaxer but also recognises the need for rest. She loves swimming, being at the beach, pilates, sports, walking and strength training.
